Year 4
Hello my name is Mrs Dainty. I am very excited to be spending my first year working at The John Bamford Primary School in Year 4. I enjoy teaching all subjects across the curriculum, but I particularly enjoy teaching Literacy. During my spare time, I enjoy taking my dog on long walks and spending time with my family and friends.
In Year 4, children continue their learning of multiplication facts in preparation for Y4 Multiplication Tables Check in June. As part of daily lessons, children are given the opportunity to practice their recall of multiplication facts up to 12 x 12.
Your child will read with an adult at school, but reading regularly at home will support your child’s reading development and progress.
