Welcome to The John Bamford Primary School's website. We are delighted that you have chosen to visit us and hope that you find the information available useful.

John Bamford sees itself as at the heart of the community and offers the foundations of an education for life, enabling all to develop as independent, confident, effective and responsible learners through the provision of an enriched and enjoyable curriculum. We regard belonging to our school as something which is important to us all - children, staff, parents and governors alike. We hope that you and your child will also very soon feel part of our family.

Staff enjoy working here and children enjoy learning here. It all goes towards providing children with a caring and secure environment, as above all else we want children to feel they are given the opportunity to succeed.

Why not pay a visit to us in person, where we will be happy to show you around our school.

Best Regards,
Miss L Thomas (Headteacher)

“We are extremely pleased and proud of our child on his excellent school report. We’d like to thank the teachers and the teaching assistants for their support and encouragement in making learning such fun and helping our son to excel” - Year 3 Parent
